2 Days Until Christmas

It's time to talk about another Christmas tradition.

We figured out the first year we were married that traveling home for Christmas is maybe not the most convenient thing to do. With so, so many people in our family, if we try to cram visits in with everyone on ONE day we end up exhausted and unsatisfied. (This was confirmed last year) It's much better, we've discovered, to travel over Thanksgiving ~ and for that matter the rest of the year ~ and keep Christmas all for ourselves.

Looking for something fun to do with our first Christmas, we decided to go see a couple of movies. You know great films open on Christmas every year, right? We had so much fun that first year that the tradition has stuck. This will be our fourth Christmas together, and we're super psyched about picking out which films to see this year.

Sherlock Holmes

Brothers

It's Complicated

Up In the Air

We're also considering The Blind Side, The Princess and the Frog, Did You Hear About the Morgans?, Invictus, The Road & The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. What??? I gotta prepare for the Academollys!! Anyway, what we end up seeing just depends on show times, theatre availability and how our bums feel by the end of the day. "Can we sit through one more?"

In fact, there are so many contenders this year, we may add a matinee on Christmas Eve too!

I am sure you and Brian will not be disapointed with the Blindside. We Loved IT! I have not heard anything bad about it. I also want to see It's Complicated.
