Grammy Thoughts

Loving the fact that there were back to back to back live performances tonight. U2, Coldplay, Carrie Underwood, Paul McCartney, Radiohead & Robert Plant with Alison Krauss. Pretty cool.

I'm not sure what the heck happened with Chris Brown and Rhianna, but I sure am glad I got to watch my boyfriend ~ Justin Timberlake ~ perform in one of their spots... Even if it was a bit unpolished.

Katy Perry is an awkward live performer. I like her music, but she's just plain awkward on stage. She doesn't move well and that's all I have to say about that.

I love, love, love LeAnn rimes' Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti halter and skirt ensemble. Didn't love the hair, but her outfit is my favorite of the night.

Ryan Seacrest's red carpet coverage seemed more desperate and uncomfortable than usual. Was he having an off night or did he just pre-party a bit too hard?

I was so excited to see Alison Krauss and Robert plant win a couple awards. Their collaboration is a work of art and you just may have heard about it here first.

"Where it began, I can't begin to know it... Hands, touching hands, reaching out, touching me, touching you... So good, so good, so good." Even if his voice is gone, that song will never disappoint.

Where was Beyonce???

I don't know about you, but I’m not ready to accept Jamie Foxx as a singer... No matter how many times he or the mainstream media try to convince me otherwise.

All in all, with very little moronic & meaningless banter and lots of live music the Grammys are in position to be named the best award show of the season. The bar has been set pretty high for the Oscars, I can't wait.
